What Can
Del Mar College
Offer You?
Del Mar College offers world-class educational programs for recent high school graduates, adult learners and dual credit students on three campuses, two education centers and through online and offsite instruction. The College matches the culture of the Texas Coastal Bend community by serving students in a range of ages, ethnic origins and educational pursuits. The majority of our students attend part time and benefit from receiving some form of financial aid. The average student age is 24 years and women make up about three-fifths of DMC students.
Get real, hands-on experience
Research has shown that many students perform better and learn faster in smaller classrooms with applied training.
Affordable Education
One-third the cost of tuition at area universities – and several financial aid options are available.
More flexible classes than ever
Community colleges are working harder to make higher education within reach for all students – from evening and online courses to bus transportation – so you can find the schedule that works for you.
Boost your earning potential
Learning a new skill or getting a certification (some are attainable in just four weeks) can earn you 40 to 70 percent higher pay.
